Serving Caloundra, Kings Beach, Pelican Waters and the southern Sunshine Coast.
About Our Service
Caloundra's property market is one of the Sunshine Coast's most diverse — spanning the high-demand beachside suburbs of Kings Beach and Moffat Beach, the family-friendly streets of Currimundi and Wurtulla, and the prestige waterfront estates of Pelican Waters. Motion Creative provides professional real estate photography and videography to agents across the full Caloundra region, delivering content that gets listings noticed and sold.
We understand what makes a Caloundra listing stand out. From the bold ocean views at Kings Beach to the calm canal lifestyle of Pelican Waters, every property has a story — and we know how to tell it visually. Our images are sharp, consistent, and produced to the same standard regardless of price point, because presentation matters at every level of the market.
Videography plays an equally important role in our Caloundra work. Our 6K property videos are particularly effective here, where a significant portion of buyers are relocating from interstate and rely on video to genuinely assess a property before travelling to inspect. A cinematic walkthrough of a Kings Beach home with ocean views, or a drone video over the Pelican Waters canals, gives those buyers the confidence to act. We produce these videos to the same high standard as our photography — and they are available alongside every shoot.
Based on the Sunshine Coast and available seven days a week, we can shoot today and deliver your full gallery of edited images within 24 hours. Add drone aerials, twilight photography or a 6K walkthrough video for a truly complete listing package.

Local Expertise
Caloundra sits at the southern gateway of the Sunshine Coast and has been undergoing a quiet but significant transformation. Once seen primarily as a retiree destination and a budget alternative to the northern suburbs, Caloundra is increasingly attracting young families, investors, and buyers priced out of Mooloolaba and Maroochydore — and the property market is responding. Photography here needs to capture both the suburb's enduring coastal character and its evolving identity.
The Kings Beach and Bulcock Beach precincts are the most photogenic in Caloundra, and properties with views of either deserve photography that leads with that outlook. Kings Beach in particular sits in a protected bay that creates unusually calm water — perfect for reflective drone shots in the early morning, before the wind picks up and the surface breaks. We have a well-established routine for Kings Beach properties that captures the bay at its most photogenic.
Golden Beach and Pelican Waters to the north are among Caloundra's most interesting micro-markets. Golden Beach, separated from the mainland by the Pumicestone Passage, has a remote, nature-connected quality that makes drone photography particularly compelling — the passage, the national park beyond it, and the sparse development all visible from above. Pelican Waters, by contrast, is an established canal estate where the waterfront-living photography approach applies directly.
Caloundra's hinterland fringe — including Little Mountain, Currimundi, and Meridan Plains — offers a different type of property: newer estate homes on good-sized blocks, family-focused, with the beach within cycling distance. These suburbs are popular with families making the move from Brisbane, and the photography tends to emphasise space, finishes, and the family-oriented outdoor areas.
The Caloundra market is currently one of the best-value coastal markets on the Sunshine Coast, and buyers here are often making their first coastal property purchase. Strong photography helps these listings compete with higher-priced alternatives further up the coast — making the case visually that Caloundra offers lifestyle without compromise, just at a different price point.
Across the Cluster
Caloundra anchors a cluster of markets that we cover comprehensively, each with its own character and buyer base. Pelican Waters is the prestige end — canal-front and golf-front homes around the new marina precinct, where waterfront photography standards apply in full. Golden Beach, between Pelican Waters and the town centre, offers Pumicestone Passage frontage with a quieter, nature-connected feel that our aerial work captures beautifully.
To the west, the corridor runs through Caloundra West and Little Mountain toward Landsborough and the Glass House Mountains — a progression from new family estates to bushland acreage beneath the volcanic peaks. Buyers moving through this corridor are often trading commute distance for land, and our photography helps them see exactly what each step inland buys.
The beach suburbs — Kings Beach, Shelly Beach, Moffat Beach, Dicky Beach, and Currimundi — each carry distinct identities. Moffat Beach's café-and-surf culture drives one of the tightest property markets in the cluster; Kings Beach's protected bay suits apartment and holiday-let campaigns; Currimundi adds the lake lifestyle. We photograph across all of them with the local knowledge each deserves.
Aura and Baringa, the massive growth corridor south-west of Caloundra, sits alongside our Kawana Waters & Birtinya coverage — thousands of new homes whose listings compete hardest on presentation quality. Wherever your listing sits in the greater Caloundra cluster, we bring the same standard: honest, compelling media, delivered within 24 hours.
FAQ
It depends which way the property faces. Kings Beach and Bulcock Beach properties have very different light through the day, and we plan around the specific aspect rather than applying a fixed schedule. For view-led listings we'll usually shoot when the light is on the water rather than behind it.
Yes — we work across the whole of greater Caloundra, including Kings Beach, Golden Beach, Bulcock Beach, Currimundi, Pelican Waters, Moffat Beach and Dicky Beach.
Yes. Apartment stock is a big part of the Caloundra market and it needs view-aware composition and careful window exposure. We also shoot common areas and building amenity where they add to the campaign.
Yes. Floor plans are produced from a scan taken on site during the shoot, so there's no separate appointment to arrange.
